Dr. Panagiotis Theofilis is a resident Cardiologist at the 1st Cardiology Department, "Hippocratio" G.H.A. He is a PhD candidate in the University of Athens Medical School and has been involved in research projects since 2017. His current research interests involve atherosclerosis and its associated risk factors, hypertension and the heart-kidney interaction, as well as the role of microRNAs in cardiovascular disease. He has authored more than 70 manuscripts published in international, peer-reviewed journals.
