Prof. Denisa Muraru is a cardiologist specialized in Imaging-Echocardiography, head of the Heart Valve Clinic at Istituto Auxologico Italiano, IRCCS, San Luca Hospital, and Assoc. Professor at the University of Milano-Bicocca, Milan, Italy. Her research interests include heart valve disease, right ventricular function, and cardiomyopathies. She has co-authored >300 papers (H index 61) and 70 chapters. She is a regularly invited speaker at the ESC and EACVI Congresses. She is Associate Editor of EHJCVI and CASE, and a member of the JASE Editorial Board. She is EACVI President - Elect in the EACVI Board 2024-2026, and Chair of the EACVI National Societies Committee.
