Dr. Eue-Keun Choi is a professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at Seoul National University College of Medicine, Seoul, Korea, where he has been since 2009. He graduated from Seoul National University College of Medicine, received his Ph.D. from the same institute, and completed his residence and cardiology fellow at Seoul National University Hospital. He was a postdoctoral research fellow at Indiana University School of Medicine, USA (Dr. Peng-Sheng Chen), and a research fellow in Brigham and Women’s Hospital, USA (Dr. William G. Stevenson). His research interests were the mechanism of atrial fibrillation (AF), autonomic nervous system on cardiac arrhythmogenesis, stroke prevention of AF, and new technology in the diagnosis and treatment of AF. Dr. Choi has published more than 200 peer-review research papers. He is a member of Heart Rhythm Society (HRS), Asian Pacific Heart Rhythm Society (APHRS), European Society of Cardiology (ESC), European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA)
