Gian Paolo Rossi, MD is Full Professor of Medicine, Department of Medicine-University Hospital, Padua, Head of The High Blood Pressure Unit and the Internal Emergency Medicine Unit, Coordinator of the International PhD Program Arterial Hypertension Vascular Biology, Director of the Post-graduate Training Program in Internal Emergency Medicine. He received his MD degree from University of Padua Magna cum laude and is Board Certified in Cardiology and in Endocrinology, Hypertension Specialist of the European Society of Hypertension. He is member of ESH, ACC, AHA, ISH. He served in the Executive Board of the Italian Society of Hypertension, The European Council for Cardiovascular Research, the International Aldosterone Conference. He has published over 500 papers in peer reviewed journals and 31 book chapters. His current Hirsch Index=84.
