Barbara Riegel, PhD, RN is a Senior Research Scientist at VNS Health, Professor Emerita, University of Pennsylvania, and Co-Director of International Center for Self-Care Research. Her program of research addresses self-care broadly defined to embrace treatment adherence, condition monitoring, and symptom management.
