Dr. Justine Cabrera is a cardiology research fellow specializing in adult echocardiography at St. Luke’s Medical Center – Global City in the Philippines. She earned her medical degree and completed her internal medicine residency at the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Medical Center, where she served as chief resident in 2020. She later completed her adult cardiology fellowship at St. Luke’s. In her current role, Dr. Cabrera performs and interprets transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms, including intraoperative and intraprocedural TEEs. She assists in structural heart procedures such as TAVR and TEER, and more recently, has participated in robotic-assisted cardiac surgeries, including CABG and valve repair/replacements. In her free time, she enjoys long-distance running—because, in her words, "you can never have too much cardio."
