Member of:

European Society of Cardiology

He has been working in the Cardiology Department of Papa Giovanni Hospital since 2005. In 2000, he graduated in Medicine and Surgery at University of Pavia with 110/110 and honors. In 2003, he attended as clinical fellow the University Hospital Gasthuisberg, Leuven, Belgium. In 2004 he specialized in Cardiology at the University of Brescia, Italy. In 2012/2013 he attended a post-doctoral research fellowship at the Cardiac Imaging Core Laboratory directed by Professor Solomon, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, USA. His main area of work has been heart failure. He is proficient in managing heart failure patients and associated comorbidities, and in echocardiographic techniques. He has special interest in advanced heart failure and in heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF). He has conducted many research projects, in collaboration with national and international societies. He is contract professor at School of Medicine and Surgery, Bergamo, Milano.
