Prof. Dr. Arzu Kanık, born in 1968 in Ankara, completed her MSc and PhD in Biometry and Genetics at Ankara University. She founded the Department of Biostatistics and Medical Informatics at Mersin University Faculty of Medicine and served there for many years. Since 2007, she has been the Scientific Director of MedicReS New York, contributing to global standards in good medical research and researcher education. From 2017 to 2020, she worked at the University of Health Sciences to establish biostatistics departments and implement the MedicReS curriculum. As a visiting professor at Harvard University, she led the development of E-PICOS, an intelligent and ethical clinical research software. She has been a senior member of TİTCK’s clinical research and bioequivalence commissions for 10 years. With over 300 international articles, an h-index of 42, and numerous invited talks worldwide, she is recognized as a leading expert in AI, biostatistics, and clinical research.
