Anna Camps-Vilaro holds a degree in Pharmacy (University of Barcelona), a Master's degree in Study Coordination and Clinical Trials, and a PhD in Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Anna's research primarily focuses on cardiovascular epidemiology, specifically analyzing trends in ischemic heart disease, studying biomarkers of atherosclerosis, and improving risk assessment functions in both the general population and specific risk situations such as HIV and SARS-CoV-2 infections. She has published over ten scientific articles in high-impact journals, presented her work at national and international congresses, participated in nine national projects (one as co-principal investigator), co-supervised a final degree project, and supervised several student internships. Furthermore, Anna is a co-author of a patent and has been recognized with the Young Investigator Award at the 2022 European Society of Preventive Cardiology congress.
