Doctor Peter Magnusson

Peter Magnusson received his M.D. from Lund University in 2001 and Ph.D. from Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden. After board certification in Internal medicine and Cardiology he has served as cardiologist. Currenly he holds a position as senior consultant in the Cardiology unit in Gävle, Sweden. As a clinician Peter is mainly involved in the management in arrhythmias, heart failure, and device implantation. He is active in several research projects including arrhythmia, cardiomyopathies, heart failure, cardiac imaging, health economy, digitalisation, and health-related quality of life. Peters enjoys teaching and frequently gives lectures for various taget groups within the scientific community and in the public. He is a father of three sons and live in Gävle, Sweden.
