Professor Laszlo Alajos Geller is an interventional cardiologist and electrophysiologist specializing in cardiac arrhythmias, interventional cardiology, and structural heart procedures. His professional experience includes more than 7,000 atrial fibrillation ablations, 12,000 PCI procedures, and 10,000 pacemaker implantations. His research focuses on advanced catheter ablation strategies, device-based heart failure therapies, and innovations in interventional cardiology. He has authored 221 scientific journal articles and 291 published abstracts, with a total of more than 9,000 scientific citations. He currently serves as President of the Hungarian Society of Cardiology and, as President of the Hungarian Sailing Association, actively participates in both domestic and international sailing competitions. Throughout his career, he has combined clinical expertise, scientific research, and leadership skills both in medicine and beyond.
