Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo, primary degree (MBBS) with distinction in 2009. Subsequently MD (medicine) was obtained in 2016 after successfully completing the postgraduate education at the Post Graduate Institute in Medicine, University of Colombo. I selected interventional cardiology for my career in June 2016 where I started to work at the Advanced Cardiac Centre, Sri Jayewardenepura (Teaching) General Hospital, Colombo. Next two years from 2019-2021 I have been working in the capacity of SpR in Interventional Cardiology and device therapy at Harefield hospital, Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS trust, UK. I had the pleasure of working as a primary operator in range of procedures including angiography, PTCA, CTO interventions, Structural heart interventions including TAVI and Mitra clip(assisting), RHCC, cardiac device implantation, EP studies and basic radiofrequency ablations. After return I am placed at current post till now. Consultant Cardiologist in Intervention.
