Biosketch 14 Apr 2020 Prof. Anna Tomaszuk-Kazberuk Prof. Anna Tomaszuk-Kazberuk graduated in 1996 from the Medical University in Bialystok, Poland. She is a specialist in internal medicine and cardiology. In 2003 she obtained a doctoral degree, and in 2012 she accomplished dissertation based on the series of publications and entitled "Diagnostics of coronary artery disease and prognosis in dialysis patients" and became an associate professor. Since 1998, she has been working in the Department of Cardiology of the Medical University in Bialystok, where she currently has got a position of Vice-Chief of the Department. The main research topic in which Prof. Tomaszuk is especially involved is atrial fibrillation. She conducted many valuable studies on this subject, published in European magazines. She is focused mainly on thromboembolic complications and anticoagulant therapy. She is a recognized national and international expert in this field. She is extremely strongly involved
