Dr Adelaide Iervolino is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Cardiovascular Research Center of the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA. She is currently holding a MD summa cum laude from the international MD Program of the Catholic University of Sacred Heart of Rome, Italy and affiliated to the PhD program "Cardiovascular Pathophysiology and Therapeutics" and to the Internal Medicine residency program of the University Federico II of Naples, Italy. Her main research interests include the echocardiographic diagnosis of valvular heart disease, in particular of the mitral and tricuspid structural and functional abnormalities, their related interventional treatment, chronic heart failure and cardio-oncology.
