Miss Suet Yen Chong

Suet Yen Chong is a graduate student at the Department of Surgery, National University of Singapore. Having specialized in cellular and molecular pathology during her undergraduate studies, she further ventured into pharmacological science and technology for her master's degree in NUS. Her field of research includes cardiovascular immunology and nanomedicine for cardiovascular disease (CVD). Her recent publication is "Tissue factor cytoplasmic domain exacerbates post-infarct left ventricular remodelling via orchestrating cardiac inflammation and angiogenesis." She hopes to utilize the advantage of nanomedicine for the treatment of CVD. During her free time, she likes to watch movies, run and hiking. As a Malaysian Chinese, she can speak and write fluently in 3 different languages- Chinese, Malay and English.
