Dr. Alsaied earned his medical degree from Damascus University Medical School, followed by his Pediatric Residency at the American University of Beirut Medical Center. He then completed an additional Pediatric Residency and Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, while simultaneously completing his Master’s degree in Clinical and Translational Research at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Alsaied then completed an Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging fellowship at Boston Children’s. Dr. Alsaied is currently an assistant Professor of Pediatric Cardiology before to UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Dr. Alsaied has been awarded several prestigious awards from important pediatric cardiology imaging societies including an Early Career Award from the Society of Cardiac MRI as well as a nomination for the American Academy of Pediatrics Young Investigator Award. He currently serves as Associate Editor of the journal "Pediatric Cardiology".
