I have a background in Biomedical Engineering. I majored in Mechanical Engineering during my undergraduate studies and did research projects on blood flow modelling during my Master's and PhD. In between my Master's and PhD, I was also involved in a bioinformatics project on environmental and maternal health. During my PhD, apart from blood flow modelling, I also conducted in-vitro experiments on blood flow in abnormal vascular geometries and performed a machine learning study relating peripheral pulse waveforms to vascular ageing. After my PhD, I worked on a drug discovery/repurposing project using omics data to treat glioblastoma. Now, I am helping to develop algorithms for a medical device on cardiovascular diseases as a data science consultant.
