He holds a degree in Medicine (UBA 2001), a PhD in Biological Sciences (Physiology-UFRJ-2007), and a Post-Doctorate in the following Institutions: University of Rochester, (NY-USA, 2005-2006), IBCCF-UFRJ (2007-2009) and Masonic Medical Research Laboratory (NY-USA, 2011). He is an Associate Professor at the IBCCF/UFRJ of physiology. He works on the following topics: electrophysiology, arrhythmias, physiology, and Immunology. Even so, he has been Deputy Director of Administration of the National Center for Structural Biology and Bioimaging (CENABIO/UFRJ) since 2013. Affiliate Member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences (2011-2016), Young Scientist of Our State - FAPERJ (2011-2021) and State Scientist - FAPERJ (2021 - Current). Elected President of the Latin American Section of the International Society for Heart Research (ISHR-LAT - 2020 - 2021). Vice-Coordinator of INCT INTERAS - National Institute of Science and Technology of Radiation in Health (2023 - Current).
