Professor Omar Pereira De Almeida Neto

Dr. Omar is a nurse and professor at the Federal University of Uberlândia. He holds a Master’s and a Ph.D. in Cardiovascular Science, with a strong background in cardiovascular nursing care. Since 2021, he has been leading the "Innovation and Advanced Research Group in Cardiovascular Care" in Brazil, where he coordinates studies on advanced cardiovascular care, telemonitoring, and nursing digital health interventions. His research interests include heart failure management, telehealth, nursing interventions in cardiology, and the impact of digital tools on patient care. He has collaborated with national and international institutions, including the University of Rome Tor Vergata. In addition to his academic work, he speaks Portuguese, English, Spanish, and Italian.
