Fiorenzo Simonetti is a medical doctor, cardiologist, and PhD fellow in interventional cardiology, currently working at the ISAResearch Center, TUM Klinikum Deutsches Herzzentrum, in Munich, Germany. He obtained his medical degree and completed his specialization in cardiology in Italy, and has since developed expertise in interventional cardiology, with a particular focus on complex percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) and intravascular imaging, especially optical coherence tomography (OCT). He has contributed to a national randomized controlled trial and is actively involved in the design, analysis, and conduct of several national and international randomized and observational clinical studies in the field of interventional cardiology. His work frequently includes intravascular imaging analysis and coordination of imaging core lab activities.
