Dr. Andreas Müssigbrodt, FEHRA, FESC, is a German cardiac electrophysiologist. He graduated from medical school in 2002 at Heidelberg University. He completed his cardiology training at Lausanne University Hospital in Switzerland, Marburg University Hospital in Germany, and Leipzig Heart Centre in Germany. In 2018, he submitted his habilitation thesis on the topic “VT Ablation in ARVC” and was awarded the title “Privatdozent” at the University of Leipzig. His research focuses on catheter ablation of AF and VT, conduction system pacing, and sports cardiology. His clinical activities include the ablation of atrial and ventricular arrhythmias, including epicardial VT, implantation of pacemakers and ICDs, including leadless pacing, HBP, LBBAP, and S-ICD, as well as cardiac device extraction. Since 2020, he has been working as the coordinator of the electrophysiology department at the University Hospital Martinique. In his free time, you may find him surfing, kitesurfing, or salsa dancing.
