Dr Ayumi Nojiri is a junior associate professor in the Department of Laboratory Medicine at Jikei University School of Medicine in Japan. She is mainly involved in echocardiography as a cardiologist and a specialist in laboratory medicine. She received her MD degree from Jikei University School of Medicine in Japan. Myocardial strain analysis in cardiomyopathy, multimodality cardiac imaging, valvular heart disease and heart failure are her main interests. In her spare time she likes to cycle, hike, listen to music and spend time with her family.
