Associate Professor Julia Grapsa

Dr. Grapsa is a consultant cardiologist at Guys and St Thomas NHS Trust. Reader in Cardiology, KCH. She was the founding editor in chief for JACC Case Reports, founder of JACCCR mentoring program for peer review and publishing and ACC guidelines dissemination committee member. She is a senior editor under EHJ-IMP, ESC journals She is the chair for the task force of women in cardiovascular imaging under EACVI. During her PhD research, Dr. Grapsa studied the right heart remodelling in idiopathic pulmonary arterial hypertension with echocardiography and cardiac magnetic resonance. Dr. Grapsa has served as chair of the young community for multimodality imaging for the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging and as a member of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) education committee, leading the ESC clinical case gallery. She was responsible for ESC social media, since its birth and she has been a member of imaging and online education committees of Heart Failure Association.
