Doctor Giovanni Riccardo Maria Civieri

Padova Hospital, Padova (Italy)

I am a clinical cardiologist with a strong interest in research and statistics. I previously worked as a Research Fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School, before returning to Italy to pursue a PhD in Cardiovascular Sciences at the University of Padua. My clinical focus is on heart failure. My research explores biomarkers of autoimmunity in cardiovascular disease, as well as the interplay between mental health and cardiovascular disorders. I am currently based in Newcastle upon Tyne (UK), where I hold a clinical access position in Advanced Heart Failure and Heart Transplantation.
