Agnieszka Kapłon-Cieślicka, MD, PhD, FESC, is a cardiologist, an echocardiographer (Expert of the Association of Echocardiography of the Polish Cardiac Society) and professor at the 1st Chair and Department of Cardiology, Medical University of Warsaw. Her current clinical interests and research focus on heart failure (especially HFpEF), atrial fibrillation and valvular heart disease (including echonavigation during structural heart interventions), in particular tricuspid regurgitation. She is a co-author of over 200 publications with an IF of over 500 and a H-index of 21. She is a member of the EACVI Education Committee and the ESC Data Science Committee (2024-2026). Within the Polish Cardiac Society (PCS), she was president of the "Club 30" (PCS young community; 2021-2023) and Chair of the Committee for Scientific Analyses (2023-2025), and is board member of the PCS Heart Failure Association and president of the PCS Section of Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy (2025-2027).
