Dr. Roberto Tarantini graduated summa cum laude from the University of Insubria in Varese, Italy. He is a board-certified cardiologist and is currently a PhD candidate in cardiovascular imaging at the University Medical Center Utrecht (UMC Utrecht), the Netherlands. During his cardiology training, he developed a strong interest in clinical research, with a particular focus on cardiovascular imaging and heart failure. His current research activity as a PhD candidate is centered on advanced multimodality cardiovascular imaging. He is a professional member of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI), and the Italian Society of Cardiology. He is fluent in both English and Italian. He is learning Dutch.
