Ms Maria Clara Llamedo

Royal Brompton Hospital, London (United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland)

I completed my medical studies at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and pursued specialist training in Cardiology at Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires. During my residency, I served as Chief Resident and completed an additional year of training in Echocardiography. It was during this time that I developed a strong interest in Cardio-Oncology, actively participating in a clinical research study group focused on this emerging field. Driven by a passion for advancing care at Cardio-Oncology, I relocated to the United Kingdom to continue my professional development. I currently work as a Clinical Fellow in Cardio-Oncology at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London, a leading institution in cardiovascular and thoracic care. I am honoured to be part of the COOL group (Cardio-Oncology Tomorrow’s Leaders) and the Thrombosis Study Group within the ESC Cardio-Oncology Council, contributing to collaborative efforts in education and research.
