Mathijs van Schie is a technical physician/clinical technologist working on cardiac mapping of atrial fibrillation at the department of cardiology-translational electrophysiology in the Erasmus University Medical Center Rotterdam, The Netherlands. He obtained a master of science degree in technical medicine at the University of Twente in 2018 and finalized his PhD in 2024, entitled 'Decoding atrial fibrillation: personalized identification and quantification of electropathology'. He is specialized in advanced cardiac signal processing and applied electrophysiological analytics.
