Dr Daniel Donner is the head of Preclinical Surgery and Imaging Research at the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute and leads the Translational Cardiology Laboratory and Platform in Melbourne Australia. With a focus on cardiac arrest and resuscitation, acute myocardial infarction and heart failure, his team of senior surgeons, veterinarians, research and technical officers lead extensive programs leveraging their expertise in small and large models of acute cardiovascular events and chronic cardiovascular diseases. His team enables an additional 60+ research programs through collaborations with academic, clinical and industry partners around the world.
