I am a professor of pediatric Cardiology , Cairo University . I was the former head of Pediatric post operative cardiac ICU 2006-2013 . From 2010-2013 i was the head of the whole cardiology department . It was an honor to apply for the first subspeciality of pediatric cardiology all over the Egyptian universities . In addition i initiated in 2003 the first and only Egyptian pediatric cardiomyopathy clinic which encompass about 1500 patient up till now and through a government grant where i was the principal investigator on 2013 i applied for a project to create a center of excellence for our department and a research program was applied for elucidation of genetic and metabolic background of cardiomyopathy using Next generation sequence technology and metabolic lab technologies . From 20o9 till 2019 i am working in 57357 children cancer hospital 57357 which is the biggest pediatric cancer hospital all over middle east and i am the head of the cardiology department there .
