Doctor Philip Sarajlic

Dr. Philip Sarajlic received his MD degree from the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden. He is currently serving as a research scientist in the translational cardiology team at the Department of Medicine at Karolinska University Hospital. His main area of interest is computational cardiology, with a primary focus on research and development of bioinformatics and artificial intelligence solutions in medical settings. In addition, he is managing intercontinental projects in applied machine learning in the fields of heart failure phenotyping, identification of cardiovascular risk factors, and detection of intervention side effects. As a frequently invited reviewer of manuscript submissions to high-impact cardiovascular journals, he stays up-to-date with recent developments and contributes to quality assurance in the area.
