After finishing his Bachelor of Medicine at the University of New England in Armidale, David Ferreira completed his physicians training at Liverpool Hospital in Sydney, receiving Physician and Academic awards. In 2023 he finished his cardiology training at John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle Australia. David is an ongoing PhD candidate and research fellow at John Hunter Hospital and the University of Newcastle. In 2024, David is working as an Electrophysiology Fellow at the Austin Hospital in Melbourne, Australia. His research interests are randomised clinical trials to answer patient centered questions. Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his family and arguing about clinical trial methodology.
