Professor Debasish Banerjee is a practising Nephrologist and Care Group Lead, with a clinical and research interest in cardiovascular complications of CKD. He established the "kidney failure-heart failure interdisciplinary clinic" in St George's Hospital in London UK and leads the "Cardio-renal MDT". He is the co-director of the Translational and Clinical Sciences Research Institute. He is the Quality Lead of the MBBS program at St George's University of London. He is member of the Guidelines Committee of ABCD-UK Kidney Association. He is the chair of the Education and Training Committee of UK Kidney Association. He is a member of International Society of Nephrology education committee and Cardiorenal Clinical Study Group of Kidney Research UK.
