Dr. Ana Karyn Ehrenfried de Freitas is a cardiologist specializing in heart failure and advanced cardiac care. She holds a medical degree from the Universidade Federal do Paraná, completed her residency in Clinical Medicine at the Hospital de Clínicas do Paraná, and cardiology training at the Santa Casa de Curitiba. She earned a Master of Science in Health Sciences from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica and further specialized in Heart Failure (Hospital do Coração/SBC) and Preceptorship (Hospital Moinhos de Ventos). Dr. Freitas is a cardiologist at the Hospital Marcelino Champagnat, Hospital de Clínicas, and the Hospital Cruz Vermelha do Paraná, where she leads the Advanced Heart Failure Clinic. She coordinates the DEIC Jovem under the Brazilian Society of Cardiology. Her research focuses on innovative therapies for heart failure, integration of cardiovascular care, and systemic health, with contributions to international collaborations and esteemed medical journals.
