Vasile Bogdan Halatiu, MD, PhD is a medical doctor in the Cardiology specialty at the Emergency County Hospital in Targu Mures since 2019 and Assistant lecturer in the Physiology department at the "George Emil Palade" University of Medicine, Sciences and Technology from Targu Mures starting with 2024. The research activity is carried out both in the hospital and in a preclinical research laboratory, with the main areas of interest: atherosclerosis, chronic coronary disease, acute coronary syndromes, preventive cardiology, heart failure, atrial fibrillation and animal models of cardiovascular disease. In addition to his mother tongue (Romanian), he speaks English and French at an advanced level.
