Gayle has worked at Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospital since 2010 as a resident and subsequently a specialist pharmacist. Since 2016, she has been a specialist heart failure pharmacist working within the King’s Health Partners (KHP) integrated heart failure team. This role involves working across the care settings to help ensure medicine optimisation to local patients. This is facilitated through heart failure pharmacist led medicine optimisation clinics, primary care register reviews and virtual clinics, dedicated adherence and polypharmacy support, alongside delivering education and training to clinical staff. Gayle is the creator of MedTap a medicine information app, developed by clinicians at Guy’s and St Thomas’, which launched in 2019.
