Dr. Shafag Mustafaeva graduated from Smolensk State Medical Academy and completed a cardiology residency at Azerbaijan Medical University. Since 2024, she has worked as a clinical cardiologist at Universal Hospital in Baku. Her main focus is cardiovascular imaging, including transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, stress echocardiography, and cardiac CT. She holds full EACVI certification in transthoracic echocardiography and teaches echocardiography in Azerbaijan. She is a member of the Azerbaijan Society of Cardiology and takes part in national and international events. She has published several papers and presented her work at international congresses such as the ESC Congress and the Heart Failure Master Course.
