Secretary (since 2017) and member of the Board (2011- 2015) of the Polish Cardiac Society (PCS), chairman of the PCS Health Promotion Committee (2011-2017), chairman of the PCS Working Group on Epidemiology and Prevention (2009-2011), ESC National Prevention Coordinator for Poland (since 2010), member of the EAPC Prevention Implementation Committee (since 2018), chairman of the Board of the Public Health Foundation (since 2018). Member of the Board of the Krakow Association of Physicians (from 2011). Author of over 300 scientific contributions, co-author of a number of statements and guidelines. Laureate of numerous scientific awards (i.a. Award of the Minister of Health, Awards of the PCS and the Polish Society of Hypertension, J. Widimsky Award, Award of the "Health Promotion" Foundation, "Honoris Gratia" Award). Member of editorial boards and reviewer in a number of scientific journals.
