D. Hansen is a Full Professor of Rehabilitation and Exercise Physiology in Cardiometabolic Diseases at Hasselt University, Belgium, and is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology. He (co-)authored >190 peer-reviewed papers, and the aim of his research is to modulate/interfere with the pathophysiology of cardiometabolic disease by precision exercise intervention.
