Anastasios Apostolos, MD, MSc was born in 1996 in Athens, Greece. He studied Medicine in the University of Patras and he graduated in August, 2020. Nowadays, he serves as PhD student in the First Department of Cardiology, University of Athens, Hippokration General Hospital. His PhD subject is "Investigation of Nickel Sensitization After Percutaneous Implantation of Patent Foramen Ovale Occluder (INSPIRE)". His main research interests are interventional cardiology, coronary artery disease, structural heart diseases and heart failure. He has more than 50Pubmed-indexed publications in highly cited journals, such as BMJ, EHJ, JACC, Circulation, JACC: Cardiovascular Interventions, etc.
