Associate Professor Otavio Coelho-Filho

Dr. Coelho-Filho is a cardiologist with widespread interest in heart failure and cardiovascular imaging modalities. Dr. Coelho-Filho has contributed to more than 75 original articles, mainly about Cardiovascular Disease, in high-impact peer-reviewed journals. He also shares his expertise on the editorial teams for two major medical journals and as a manuscript reviewer for more than 15 medical journals. He is currently a section editor of the AHA Circulation Imaging Journal. He also sits on national and international scientific committees of prestigious societies, including the São Paulo Society of Cardiology (SOCESP), SBC, and SCMR. In addition, Dr. Coelho-Filho is currently the PI of CNPq- (National Council for Scientific and Technological Development) and FAPESP- (The São Paulo Research Foundation) funded studies.
