Doctor Rafael Yechiel Brzezinski

Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, Tel Aviv (Israel)

Rafael is an MD-PhD student at the Tel Aviv University in Israel. He conducts basic and translational research under the joint supervision of Prof. Jonathan Leor and Prof. Ehud Grossman at the Cardiovascular Research Institute at Sheba Medical Center. His main research fields include novel imaging techniques for CVD and inflammation, medical thermal imaging, exosomes, and mesenchymal stem cells. Rafael is also a research associate at the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, where he conducts clinical research focused on finding new biomarkers for cardiovascular disease. Across all of his research endeavors, Rafael studies sex and gender-related differences in cardiovascular medicine. He sets out to create a more sex-oriented research and clinical approach in his surroundings.
