Tomohiro Fujisaki was born in Japan in 1990. He received his MD from Kumamoto University School of Medicine, Kumamoto, Japan, in 2016. He completed two years of Japanese general residency training. Since 2018, he has had brief interventional cardiology and echocardiography training in Japan. Since 2019, he has studied abroad and underwent internal medicine residency training for three years at Mount Sinai Morningside and West hospitals (St. Luke's and Roosevelt), New York, USA. He experienced the COVID-19 pandemic in the epicenter of New York as a front-line provider. Since 2022, he has undergone Academic Cardiology training at the Kumamoto University Hospital and National Cerebral and Cardiovascular Center. His research interest mainly focuses on ischemic heart disease, anti-thrombotic treatment, and care for elderly patients. Fluent in Japanese and English. His hobbies are watching baseball games, playing the guitar, and learning foreign languages.
