Dr Valentina Puntmann is Deputy Head of Goethe CVI, Frankfurt and Senior clinical research scientist. Her subspecialty interest is multimodality cardiovascular imaging and the conduct of clinical trials using imaging biomarkers. Her research focused on imaging biomarkers for the detection of cardiovascular injury, risk stratification, prevention and therapy. She is Chief investigator of Myoflame-19 cRCT on cardioprotection in patients with Post-COVID heart involvement. She also Impression COVID&Heart Study, and International T1 Multicentre CMR Study. She is Member of the EuroCMR Board of Examiners and JCMR Journal Club Editor. She has served on various committees. She is author of numerous presentations and publications, including multicentre and multivendor outcome studies.
