Ibrahim Antoun graduated from the University of Aleppo with an MD degree in 2016. He is a UK-licensed physician and a member of the Royal College of Physicians since 2021. Completed his PhD in Electrophysiology at the University of Leicester in 2023. Currently works as a Cardiology trainee in the East Midlands deanery and as an honorary research fellow at the University of Leicester. Obtained Fellowship of the European Society of Cardiology in 2025. Has over 80 peer-reviewed articles in the field of cardiology, arrhythmia care and non-communicable diseases in low-to middle-income countries. He is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology and is a certified cardiac devices specialist
