Dr Nicholas Chew is a Cardiology senior resident at the National University Heart Centre Singapore with research interests focused on exploring non-standard cardiovascular risk factors in coronary artery disease and cardiometabolic diseases. He is the Principle Investigator in studies exploring the cardiovascular manifestations of fatty liver. He holds several grants and serves as the Guest Editor on Frontiers in Medicine and Cells focusing on the heart-liver axis. He is a Young Investigator’s Award winner on his work regarding fatty liver disease and acute myocardial infarction. He is a strong believer in the ABCs of research - always be collaborative!
