Eugene Yang, M.D., M.S., F.A.C.C. is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology and holds the Carl and Renee Behnke Endowed Chair for Asian Health at the University of Washington School of Medicine. He is the immediate past chair of the ACC Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease Section and co-directs the UW Medicine Cardiovascular Wellness and Prevention Program. His research focuses on new lipid lowering therapies, management of stable ischemic heart disease, cardiovascular risk assessment in Asian subgroups, and blood pressure measurement. Dr. Yang earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Stanford and his M.D from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at Stanford.
