In 11/2017 I graduated from medical school (RWTH Aachen University, Germany) after a stay abroad at the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery at the University of Bern, Switzerland. My experimental doctor thesis was about Intercalated disc alterations in murine models for uremic, diabetic and arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathies. I started my career at the Department of Cardiology and Intensive Care Medicine of the University hospital OWL of Bielefeld University, Campus Klinikum Bielefeld, Germany. My research and clinical focus is on electrophysiology, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and digital medicine. Besides my clinical profession I am promoted in the digital clinician scientist program of the University of Bielefeld.
