James graduated from the University of Southampton in 2014 with BM BS and MMedSc degrees. He completed his foundation training in South Thames and core medical training in South London. He began cardiology registrar training in 2018 and is currently out of programme as the TAVI clinical research fellow at St George’s Hospital, London. James’ research interests are in patient specific computer modelling in complex aortic valve disease to improve TAVI outcomes. Outside of work, James is a keen hockey player, runner and cyclist.
