Dr Aldostefano Porcari graduated from the University ‘Campus Bio-Medico di Roma’ in 2015 and completed his Cardiology residency led by Prof. Gianfranco Sinagra at the Trieste University in 2020, where he works as a Consultant Cardiologist. Dr Porcari has completed a 4-year post (2021-2025) as Research Fellow in Cardiology at University of Trieste, and the PhD program in Amyloidosis at the National Amyloidosis Centre, Division of Medicine, University College of London (UCL), to deepen his clinical and research knowledge and understand the mysteries of amyloidosis under the lead of Prof. Julian D. Gillmore and Prof. Marianna Fontana, world leading experts in the field. He has a keen interest in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac amyloidosis and clinical applications of cardiovascular imaging techniques. He has authored landmark studies that have changed clinical management of patients with amyloidosis.
